Through the Collaborative Mentorship Network for Chronic Pain and Addiction (CMN) the ACFP is continuing its partnership with Pain BC!

The Pain Foundation courses offer a great introduction to understanding, and helping your patients manage their chronic pain. If you or someone you know is getting started with providing care for patients with chronic pain, feel free to share this with them!

    Course learning objectives:

    •         Identify and recognize the underlying symptoms of acute and chronic pain from a biopsychosocial perspective
    •         Use tools to monitor the biopsychosocial impact of pain on patients and to assess their pain management plans
    •         Implement non-pharmacological strategies to create holistic and individualized treatment plans for people living with pain
    •         Empower your patients to self-manage their pain

There are two offerings for "Pain Foundations". Please register for the one that applies to you. Seats are limited!

    • Pain Foundations for Primary Care Providers
    • Pain Foundations for Allied Health Providers
