Born and raised in Edmonton. Went to U of C for medical school and residency. Did 5 years of half-time community general practice in a clinic and half-time palliative care work. This included two years as a consultant for the Lethbridge Palliative Team. Now I focus on primary palliative care and providing continuity of care. I work closely with home care to keep palliative patients comfortable at home for as long as possible. I also serve on a number of committees/leadership roles and enjoy teaching. I have three kids, Nala (11 years old) and Kaius (8 years old), and a wonderful wife, Wing who completed her PhD in Neuroscience.
